Electrical Maintenace Engineer – Rotterdam, Netherlands

Contract Duration: 12 Months (Initially via Agency, transitioning to Direct Employment)

As a Maintenance Engineer at our client, you are a real team player with great technical insight, especially in the field of electrical engineering you actively contribute to the continuous improvement, implementation and guarantee of the technical reliability of our installations.

The chemical industry is a fascinating and challenging one. In your work you will come across a wide range of techniques of different ages and developments. They are open to technical innovation, and this is certainly expected of you in this position! In this position, you are primarily responsible for improving the preventive maintenance of our installations by setting up SAP preventive maintenance plans. In addition, you will develop further in your field through current issues that they encounter during maintenance.

By drawing up maintenance plans, you contribute to the quality improvement of maintenance work in the medium to long term.

Your tasks and accountability package include:

Investigating fault frequencies and adjusting maintenance plans accordingly
Advising on replacement investments
Co-responsible for the proper functioning and integrity of the technical installations in the field of electrical engineering
Identifying opportunities for improvement and drawing up concrete initiatives
Within the team in the field of electrical engineering, you are the source of information for the technicians
Input of knowledge to the HAZOP sessions
Initiating things that maintain or increase the safety, reliability and availability of our installations

In this dynamic position, you will make an important contribution to, among other things, plant safety. In addition, you make it possible for technological ideas to actually be implemented.
