Job Description

Our client are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Finance Manager to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in the financial planning, structuring, and management of our solar projects. You will work closely with development, engineering, and operations teams to ensure the financial success and sustainability of Solar & BESS projects in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the financial structuring, modeling, and analysis of utility-scale and community solar projects.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support project financing and investment decisions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to secure project financing, including debt and equity.
  • Conduct due diligence and financial risk assessments for potential projects and investments.
  • Prepare and present detailed financial reports and investment proposals to senior management and investors.
  • Negotiate and manage financial agreements and contracts with lenders, investors, and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor project budgets, expenditures, and financial performance to ensure alignment with financial goals.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, financial markets, and regulatory changes impacting project finance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project finance, minimum of 3 in the renewable energy sector.
  • Strong understanding of financial modeling, investment analysis, and capital markets.
  • Proven track record of securing project financing and managing complex financial transactions.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of the solar energy industry and relevant regulatory frameworks in the Northeast region.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools, including Excel and financial modeling software.
