Lead Electrical Engineer - Singapore

Key Responsibilities:
1.    Lead the design and engineering of electrical distribution systems, including power generation, transmission, distribution, UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply), switchgear, and emergency backup systems.
2.    Manage all phases of electrical engineering projects, from concept development to commissioning, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
3.    Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of electrical engineers, designers, and technicians, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
4.    Continuously monitor and analyse the performance of electrical systems, identifying opportunities for optimization, efficiency improvements, and risk mitigation.
5.    Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes, standards, regulations, and best practices.
6.    Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities related to electrical systems design and operation and develop strategies to mitigate risks and enhance system resilience.
7.    Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, architects, project managers, and construction professionals, to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into overall facility design and construction.

•    Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
•    Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on power systems, electrical distribution, and/or building services.
•    Proven track record of leading complex electrical engineering projects.
•    Strong technical proficiency in electrical design software, such as ETAP, SKM Power Tools, or similar tools.
•    Thorough understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations, including NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and local building codes.
•    Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and deliver on time and within budget.
•    Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
