My Client is a large Oil and Energy Client who are expanding rapidly. They are currently searching a QA/QC Engineer for a 12 month renewable contract to be based on site in Antwerp, Belgium.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-site inspections and spot checks to verify the quality of the construction work performed by the EPCM contractor.

• Enforce the project’s quality control procedures and standards as established by the Quality Assurance Manager.

• Report any quality issues or deviations to the Quality Assurance Manager and assist in corrective action plans.

• Review the EPCM contractor’s field quality documents, including inspection reports, test results, and certification records for compliance.

• Coordinate with construction supervisors to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications.

• Assist the Quality Assurance Manager in reviewing and approving the EPCM contractor’s quality documentation.

• Support the QA team in conducting audits and reviews of the quality management system.

• Train and guide on-site personnel regarding the project's quality expectations and inspection practices.

• Maintain and compile comprehensive quality control records and documentation for project archives.
