Leap29 is excited to collaborate with an innovative International Renewables firm seeking a Project Developer to play a key role in overseeing their Solar initiatives.

Operating in France, the Netherlands, Germany, and Belgium, our client specializes in developing, constructing, and operating ground-mounted photovoltaic parks. This opportunity is based in the Utrecht, Netherlands office.

Responsibilities

• Contributing to or leading the development of renewable energy projects.
• Ensuring the bankability of all permits, consents, and contracts for the project.
• Crafting contracts for co-development, land lease, PPAs, etc.
• Applying for permits, feed-in tariffs, and/or power purchase agreements.
• Sub-contracting and overseeing technical advisors.
• You will be an integral part of our development team on individual projects, collaborating closely with the project manager and project partner.

Requirements

• Master's degree in economics, science, or a related field
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English (additional proficiency in French or German is a plus).
• Basic understanding and interest in financial concepts and products.
• Basic technical understanding of solar energy workings.
• Basic understanding of the legal and commercial aspects of project contracts.
• Experience with MS Office software, particularly Excel and Word.
• Experience in project development or contracting.
• Knowledge of technical software like PVSyst is advantageous.
