Web Modernisation Architect - 2 days in the Edinburgh office a week (commute paid)
6 months (Inside IR35)
£700-750 per day
January start
We are looking for a solution architect experienced in driving design and supporting implementation for one of the UKs leading financial institutions.
You will have experience in the following:
- green field build of new applications and features
- progressive modernisation of existing applications (mainly .NET / SQL Server / DB2 / Mainframe) to new cloud-based targets
- solutioning co-existence and cutover approaches to support the progressive modernisation of applications
- event driven microservice centric architecture design
- UI frameworks for inclusion of React.JS web journeys (mobile app and browser)

- Java based microservices
- Istio Service match
- Kafka
- Google PubSub / Public Cloud
- Cloud SQL, Postgres
- Google Cloud Public Cloud Target Host
- Dynatrace / GCP Cloud Operations / ServiceNow
