Job Description

At Leap29 we are working with an international engineering company, who plan and supply systems for the process industry within the pharmaceutical sector. They are looking for an experienced Construction Manager to join them on a contract basis, for a Small Pilot Chemical plant project in Oxfordshire, UK.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, coordinate and organize all construction works according to contractual obligations at all stages of the project
  • Construction scheduling as well as cost estimation and hourly calculation
  • Scheduling, scheduling and monitoring
  • Coordination and interface coordination with all trades involved
  • Keeping the construction diary and organizing meetings
  • Ensuring and implementing safety guidelines on the construction site

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering or equivalent through experience
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in operations or engineering manager or in a similar leadership role in the in the (bio-)pharmaceutical, chemical or related process industries;
  • Demonstrated track record in project management including the implementation of EPCM plant engineering projects in highly regulated process industries.
  • You possess strong leadership skills and have the ability to inspire and motivate a team
  • You have problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills are paramount, ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • You are a born communicator and with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across various teams and stakeholders
