Job Description

Lead Mechanical Engineer

In your role as Team Leader, you and your team of professionals take care of the realization of assignments for the various customers.
From your leadership role you further develop the department and motivate your team to get the best out of themselves.


A selection of your activities
You are responsible for ensuring that all technical projects run as agreed. This includes the quality, planning, cost control, reports, and technical implementation of the projects.
In addition, you maintain relationships with various customers and expand them where possible.
You motivate people and you also give team members the space to take their own responsibilities and develop talents.

In addition, together with the sales manager, among others, you will look for new opportunities in the market based on your expertise.

What do you bring?

• HBO diploma, preferably in WTB.
• Extensive experience within Mechanical engineering gained within a relevant environment (energy, O&G, construction, chemical etc) supplemented by some experience as a Lead.
• Be well acquainted with the generally applicable standards, regulations and methodologies for engineering, procurement, and implementation in the industry.
• Proficient with 2D, 3D design, and calculation applications and other common engineering software (Plant 3D is a must).
• Good command of both the English language in word and writing.

You work on different projects for various clients and the development of you and your team does not stand still for a moment.
