Job Description

GCP Cloud Architect is required for a European leader in cloud implementation, application development and managed services working within the Banking and Finance industry, office located in London.

 

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Lead, with hands on delivery background and strong stakeholder management. You will work in the cloud practice for the UK business, acting as a technology expert, mentor and team lead on client facing projects as well as helping to improve the service offerings.

 

Project Details:

12 Month Contract (extension)

Inside IR35

Start Date: ASAP

Location: London (Onsite 2 days a week)

 

Responsibilities:

As a GCP Cloud Architect you will get exposure to the following types of projects and roles:

Cloud Migration Architect – we deliver cloud migrations for our clients, for which we will mobilise a team.

which will often include - Engagement Managers, Architects, Engineers, Testers, and Business Analysts.

 

Cloud Platform Architect – we enable Cloud platforms for our clients, helping to architect, design and deliver.

GCP services.

 

Requirements:

  • Solid understanding of cloud architecture, which includes the Google Cloud Architecture Framework as well as other cloud adoption frameworks.
  • Experience of leading the design and implementation of a migration approach to a public cloud.
  • Proficiency in at least one of the following: Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation, PowerShell, Python
  • expertise within (networking, encryption, thread modelling, firewalls and VPC).

 

Expertise within (networking, encryption, thread modelling, firewalls and VPC). Share VPC experience and encryption key management in GCP is essential.
