Job Description

Technical Product Manager is required for a European leader in cloud implementation, application development and managed services. You will be working for one of their leading Healthcare providers, The Product Managers lead a squad in building products that enable the services they deliver into and learning from product strategy, they set the goals for their squad in collaboration with other leads and stakeholders and are accountable for achieving them. They lead their squad in prioritising the user needs and problems to tackle to meet these goals and communicate this in a roadmap and backlog.

London (2 x in office weekly)

 

Requirements:

  • Insight: Understand the key market, competitive, technical, scientific, clinical implications to lead your area of the product effectively.
  • Insight: Ensure your users are happy, supported, and getting value from your area of the product.
  • Insight: Incorporate data into all decision making.
  • Strategy: Contribute to product vision and strategy. Set squad OKRs aligned to business priorities.
  • Strategy: Translate the vision, strategy and OKRs into a roadmap for your area of the product.
  • Strategy: Communicate the roadmap effectively.
  • Strategy: Manage successful outcomes for users and the business.
  • Impact: Define and prioritize the focus of the squad, balancing maintenance and new development.
  • Impact: Ensure product compliance.
  • Impact: Include many perspectives to identify and solve problems.
  • Impact: Solve problems and make decisions quickly and effectively to make rapid progress.
  • Impact: Balance continuous discovery and delivery in the squad following best practice.
  • Leadership: Communicate priorities, commitments, and manage stakeholders.
  • Leadership: Work in alignment with squad members, internal and external stakeholders, users, and 3rd parties to achieve OKRs.
  • Leadership: Take ownership of and resolve problems and risks for your area of the product.
  • Leadership: Ensure your squad is supported, motivated, and effective.

 

Technical:

  • Rely on technical knowledge and skills to prioritise and manage your area of the product in cloud or hybrid environments.
  • Familiar with the concepts of modern infrastructure and software development best practices (CI/CD, test automation, release management, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of the key technologies including programming languages and database management systems relevant to their product area e.g. Python and PostGres
