Chemical Process Expert

Leap29 are working with a growing engineering services business, our client works across various industries including advanced technology including battery manufacturing and energy storage projects.

Our client is looking for a Chemical Process Expert to work closely with the Project Director and coordinate all design related to chemical engineering projects.  They are looking for someone how brings experience working with customers to deliver highly optimized and safe solutions.

Responsibilities

• Prepares answers to RFI requests.
• Analyse tendering packages issued by customers.
• Launch bidding process with partners and subcontractors: this will include NDAs, commercial partnering contract etc.
• Prepare technical and financial offers, identifying potential optimizations and value engineering opportunities in close discussions with customer.
• Present offers and update them until final P.O.
• Manage operational teams until full execution and handover to customer.

Requirements

• 10 years min. of relevant experience in same or similar field of expertise
• Technical knowledge in Chemical Process Engineering + general construction
• Technical and commercial writing skills
• Scheduling and construction follow-up of all construction works,
• Reporting, internal and customer
• Understands E&I and controls in industry
• Has already performed start-up of chemical process units
• Safety by design
• Fluent French and English language skills
