Senior Software Engineer is required for a global computer software company with a strong presence in more than 70 industries across Europe. My client’s framework is used by major global companies and developers worldwide, which enables their customers to create applications that run smoothly on many different platforms, from embedded and microcontroller environments to desktop and mobile.

They are looking for a Developer to join them for the Android Platform development. In this role, you will be a part of the team that developing and maintaining the platform integration layer. Your focus will be working with Android OS related features and fixes.

Salary: Up to €6,500 monthly DOE
Office: Oulu, Finland
Fluent in English is required. 

The ideal candidate will have the following: 

• You have Android development experience, from OS or apps
• Want to write robust, modern C++, and are interested in software design and architecture
• Are comfortable working with publicly available, large code base and material
• Are familiar with version control, integration and review tools

Beneficial Requirements:

• Experience in working with Qt or QML  
• Are familiar with some of the following; AOSP, JNI, Java, Kotlin, CI, ADB, Gradle, AIDL?
• Have experience with open source communities and development?
• Have experience developing on Linux, macOS, Windows hosts?
