**Role and Responsibilities:**
As the Renewable Energy Development Manager, you will be responsible for spearheading the development and execution of renewable energy projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Identifying and evaluating potential renewable energy project sites, including solar and wind.
- Originate and develop new Solar, Wind and Storage opportunities from identification through to development phase.
- Technical and Economic feasibility of greenfield projects, Co-Development & M&A
- Define and implements BD strategy in the region focusing on market
- Experience with EIA
- Securing land
- Experience in working with Transmission and Distribution Network Operators.
- Coordinate stakeholders
- Supports on project due diligence processes and project acquisition closings.
- Leading project feasibility studies, environmental assessments, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and plan project layouts.
- Managing stakeholder relationships, including landowners, government agencies, and local communities.
- Negotiating power purchase agreements, land leases, and other key project contracts.
- Overseeing project timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Playing a vital role in public engagement and communication efforts.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Business, or related field; advanced degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in renewable energy project development.
- Strong understanding of permitting processes, environmental regulations, and grid integration.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to foster collaboration among diverse stakeholders.
- Familiarity with California renewable energy policies and regulatory environment.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strategic vision for renewable energy expansion.
