Project Engineer – Singapore – 5 Month Contract

Location            Singapore

Salary               Est. $9000 SGD / month

Start Date            ASAP – Ideally 1st August Latest

Contract:   Valid for 5 months (target period 1st August to 31st December)

Job Purpose   Main point of contact between contractor and client stakeholder, participate in the testing & commissioning and takeover of the project, review contractor submittals to ensure specifications are in accordance to company spicifications, Inspect and follow up contractors on project defects resolution.

The Job

• Covering of mechanical and process utilities systems (including fumehood ventilation)
• Preparation and closure of the relevant permit for the contractors
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure smooth and safe execution of work.
• Assist end users and Engineering team on taking over the revamped area and ensure proper handover.
• Coordinate with EHS and Site Engineering to follow and close up on regulatory.

Candidate Requirements

• Degree qualified (Mechanical Engineering)
• Around 10 Years experience within the Chemicals / Food & Beverages, Pharmaceutical or petrochemicals industries
• Minimum 3 Years working as an engineer
• Basic Knowledge of GMP requirement would be an advantage
• Good command in stakeholder management
