Senior Static Equipment Engineer

Location: Den Haag.

Duration: 12-month contract, to staff.

Hourly rate: Negotiable.

The role:  

Leap29 is currently working with a leading engineering company, within the petrochemical and chemical industry, based in the Netherlands. Our client is looking for senior mechanical engineer, who is specialised with static equipment, to join their team on a long-term basis holding experience with large-scale projects in refinery and chemical/petrochemical industry. We are looking for candidates with a previous experience with complex multi-office environments and, can provide innovative solutions to clients.

Requirements:

• Has good knowledge of international codes and standards. 

• Ability to report in in English, both verbal & in writing (mastering Dutch is an advantage).

• Flexible for business travelling. 

Non-negotiable Requirement (Minimum criteria that are required)

• Must have thorough knowledge of static equipment ranging from vessels, heat exchangers, reactors, and columns (furnace /fired equipment is a pre).  

• Must have strong background of equipment engineering with static equipment design. 

• Has solid mechanical engineering and design experience in the Oil & Gas industry (10+ years).

• Preparation of Material requisition, technical evaluation of vendor offers & Order specification and review of vendor drawings and being involved in inspections and/or site installation.
