Concept Development Team Manager – Singapore

Location:               Singapore City Centre

Duration:               Permanent Hire

Working Week:   Approx. 45 hours per week (Monday to Friday) OT maybe required dependent on deadlines.

The Company

A Multinational main contractor and project management consultancy. This company has its name against some of the most prestigious high profiles projects around the work, from high-value life science and mission critical facilities through to Nuclear and semi con/wafer projects.

You will be working with the concept development team and taking the lead on new business and concept design phase of projects. You will be exposed to both projects regionally as well as globally.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Represent the company as the engineering lead for feasibility studies, site master planning and concept development works
  • Coordinate technical business development activities with global stakeholders
  • Manage a cross-functional engineering design team
  • Monitor, develop and communicate latest industry and client technology engineering trends
  • Ensure the adherence to companys documented standards of workflow and procedures
  • Personnel management and succession planning for the team
  • Provide visible EHS leadership by following the practices listed for engineering in the IFW playbook.
  • Establish & ensure compliance with design for safety procedures, checklist and reviews and actively promote the value of Design for Safety.

Candidate Requirements

  • 15 Years of Design and Construction experience in the ATF industry
  • 10 years of experience in experience in a leading related position of a fast track project
  • 5 years of experience of managing staff, coaching/mentoring and developing people
  • Master’s degree in architecture or engineering – Preferred
  • Technical knowledge and understanding of all stages of engineering and construction for a large EPC project
  • Extensive knowledge of best methods for design and construction implementation
  • Fluent communication and presentation skills
  • Be able to handle change and ambiguity well
  • Good Leadership skills
