Work Package Manager Electrical / ELV Singapore 24 Month Contract

Location:            Singapore

Duration:            24 Month

Working Week:            Approx 45 hours per week

Start Date:            Immediately Ideally before august

The Client

A Multinational biotech/pharmaceutical manufacturer with long standing roots in Singapore – this company is one of the main contributors to Singapore’s biomedical sciences industry.

 

Key Responsibilities

The Work Package Manager is a member of the project team and is accountable to provide oversights to the EPCM Contractor for developing and delivering the project design, project specification, construction, commissioning, qualification and validation in alignment to Good Engineering Standards (GEP), project and Company specifications and standards.

The Work Package Manager reports to the Project Manager with the role continuing through from Detail Design, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, Qualification and Validation phases of the project and is part of the project implementation team.

The Work Package Manager provides leadership and coordination of project activities and supports the Project Manager in the guardianship of the selected concept and associated basis of design during the execution stages.

  • Provides design leadership and guidance for Extra-Low Voltage equipment
  • Address EHS requirements in design
  • Supports the Project Manager in scope development activities.
  • Influence Quality by Design (QbD) and Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA) in facility design.
  • Manage and deliver Work Package to the agreed project schedule and cost and challenges change management to align with project objectives
  • Liaises with the Quality Representative, Construction Manager and Contractor Representatives in the development and execution of IQ protocols and associated records and sign off.
  • Manage Project Documentation, from Initiation to Handover, meeting all milestones within the Project Programme to ensure that the project progresses in a timely manner

 

Candidate Requirements

  • Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering
  • At least 5 years experience in biotech/pharma industry
  • Experience installing and commissioning Extra-Low Voltage equipment
  • Experience for directly for a multinational manufacturer
  • Ideally experience gained in South East Asia
  • Experience gained on high value CAPEX projects
